Turkey Muffins

This is no joke.  The following recipe is real turkey muffins. Your friends and family will truly enjoy these while maintaining great portion control. Makes: 12 muffins

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs of ground turkeyrecipe ingredients, turkey muffins, lean food, clean eating, #fitfam, #fitinonline
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 cup oats – quick cooking style
  • 2 diced celery stalks
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dry yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons chipotle pepper spice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

Steps:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees and use a nonstick cooking spray to coat muffin pan.
  2. Combine and mix all ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Use your hands to roll the mixture into balls to be placed into muffin pan wells.
  4. Bake your Turkey Muffins for approximately 30 minutes or until cooked completely through.
